McCain in Arizona

McCain, as of right now is in his home state of Arizona preparing for the next debate versus Barack Obama. McCain's daughter, Meagan is currently campaigning in Ohio for her father. Ohio, as in the past two elections, will be a major battleground State between the two parties.

This has nothing to do with your post, but has anyone been counting how many times McCain has said "my friends" so far tonight in the town hall debate?? This is getting really irritating...I am not his friend!

I love how both McCain and Obama skirted around the qs of picking a Secretary of the Treasury... All in all, both failed.

As the most powerful cabinet member, I'd expect the SofTres to be the first person on these guys' minds.

At least McCain mentioned Buffet and Whitman, and Obama mentioned Buffet...However, Whitman is a horrible pick. In an era where the inherent complexities of the financial system are in question, a financial person is needed...not a techie.

Okay, perhaps if they want someone who also keeps American values safe, Buffet is fine, as the fella invests in "core American" companies. However, choosing Whitman is nearly as bad as choosing Ghosn to run the Pentagon...hmmmm

My words to both guys: Think up, buttercup...start using your brain before the Americans are maimed

On another note...can the Obama folks please refrain from whining about "That One." Jeeze, cut the man some slack. This is nearly as bad a "lipstick on a pig."

Also...McCain's proposal for the housing crisis, though costly, is interesting...let's hear more about that...

However, the fact remains that there are roughly $60 trillion worth of Credit Default Swaps, and as that these pseudo-insurance policies are very much at the core of the crisis, perhaps we should save our money for the real bailout. By the way, does anyone know where we can get $55.3 trillion dollars?

One last thing, does anyone find it rather karma-esque that after Russia invaded Georgia, FDI was removed and the stock market collapsed...and now, it dipped yet another 20%.

Ok, one last thing...look at UK's and Deustchland's bailout plans...methinks that the fireworks have yet to begin.
